I am not sure if it falls under his mechanical or electrical engineering side, but Matt likes to freeze things with liquid nitrogen and then break them :) So Saturday, we took Kat and Luke to his building and had some fun.
We, meaning Matt, filled that cooler with liquid nitrogen and then he used tongs to dip the items in it. The kids were protected up to their elbows.
Up for demolition today....
At first, only Luke was getting on on the fun...
...Kat looked a little like this at the beginning, but by the end, she was throwing things and having a great time.
